The European Cultural Centre is primarily committed to the realization of local, national, and international art projects. Workshops, seminars, conferences, programs for children, participation in cultural projects and festivals – the cultural and artistic scope displays excellent quality and enormous variety. “Painting, theater, literature, film, photography, sculpture – the richness of artistic expression is visible and tangible here,” says Katharine Siegling. The European Cultural Centre for UNESCO “Nicolae Bălcescu” connects public institutions, cultural associations, and other non-governmental organizations. It promotes the Romanian cultural identity.
