Mirela Trăistaru –

Mirela Trăistaru was born in Bistrița, Romania. She graduated from “Romulus Ladea” Plastic Arts High School and from “Ioan Andeescu” Plastic Arts Academy in Cluj. Mirela Trăistaru is highly regarded as an artist beyond Romania and Europe. She has become famous with numerous individual and group exhibitions of her paintings and with her prolific work in theater, cinema, and television. In addition to designing costumes and stage settings, she paints on furniture and makes person and image merge with each other in her intriguing art of body painting. Furthermore, she is actively involved in international festivals, fashion events, seminars, and workshops.
Her art can be found in private collections in France, Italy, Denmark, the Netherlands, Austria, Germany, Switzerland, Ukraine, Serbia, Romania, Bulgaria, Greece, Turkey, Egypt, India, China, Japan, South Korea, and the USA.
